This historic accommodation, built on stilts, is composed mostly of wood with a slate roof; it has wide steps which lead you up onto the patio, and main entrance. It was formerly used for grain storage and milling and retains much of its original charm and characteristics with exposed beams etc. It caters especially for young couples with facilities for babies or the active elderly couple looking for peace and quiet.
"The Cottage" (Ground floor wing sleeping 6 + cot)
Adjoining the rear of the farmhouse and overlooking the farmyard and lake, this cottage wing was newly converted in 1999 and is comfortably furnished and centrally heated throughout.
There are two bedrooms -
freezer,dishwasher, automatic washing machine, etc. There is also a small walled garden with a goldfish pond and waterfall.
